Pioneer Way Motel is perfectly located between Penrith and Katoomba, and not far from the delightful Lower Blue Mountains town of Springwood. The motel makes an excellent base for enjoying the many natural attractions of the Blue Mountains Park.
Springwood dates back to 1815, when Governor Macquarie and his wife stopped by a spring to get water — it is rich in history. There is a buzz of coffee shops and restaurants in Springwood’s main street and not far from the motel is the Norman Lindsay Gallery, Lindsay Café and the Prime Ministers’ Corridor of Oaks.
